The Doodle Dog Academy is an online educational membership for Doodle and Cockapoo owners. It is hosted on Zenler within victoria-cooper.co.uk and may include monthly themes, videos, downloadable resources, live sessions, Q&As, guest speakers, recordings and a private member community. The exact timetable, topics and contributors may change, but I will take reasonable care to provide the membership as described. The separate public Facebook group is not part of the paid membership and is not a confidential space.
2. Who may use it
Membership is for one person, aged 18 or over. It is personal, non-transferable and must not be shared. Login details and member-only links must be kept private.
3. Educational guidance
The Academy provides general training and behaviour education. It does not replace an individual behavioural assessment, veterinary examination or personalised treatment plan. You remain responsible for your dog, your training decisions and the safety of people and animals. Stop any exercise that causes fear, distress, pain or an increased risk of harm. Seek veterinary or appropriately qualified behavioural help where needed. No particular behavioural result can be guaranteed.

5. Founder membership
Founder members keep their founder price for as long as their membership remains continuous. If the membership is cancelled, expires or ends because payment is not made, the founder price is lost. A returning member pays the price available at the time they rejoin. Founder membership cannot be paused or transferred to preserve the reduced rate.
6. Payments and renewal
Monthly and annual memberships renew automatically using the payment method provided at checkout. The price and billing frequency are shown before purchase. You are responsible for keeping your payment details current. If payment fails, access may be suspended while payment is outstanding. If it is not resolved within 14 days, membership may end and a founder price may be lost. Please contact me promptly if a genuine payment problem occurs.
7. Cancelling
You can stop automatic renewal at any time before your next payment through your Zenler account, if that facility is available, or by emailing [email protected]. I will confirm cancellation in writing. Monthly members normally retain access until the end of the month already paid for. Annual members normally retain access until the end of the annual period already paid for. Cancellation ends the protected founder rate. Payments are not normally refunded simply because the Academy was not used or a live session was missed. The first founder month is a minimum one-month commitment, subject to any statutory cancellation rights. Refunds will be provided where required by law, including where the service has not been supplied as described or with reasonable care and skill. These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
8. The 14-day cancellation period
Online consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period. Because Academy access begins immediately, you are asked at checkout to request immediate access to the service and to consent to immediate supply of digital content. Starting the service or accessing digital content during that period may affect the amount refundable or the right to cancel, where the law permits.
9. Live-session recordings
Live sessions are recorded for members. Your display name, voice, image or chat contributions may be captured. If you do not wish to appear, keep your camera and microphone off, avoid including personal information in the chat, and use any alternative way offered to submit a question. Members must not make or share their own recordings.
10. Our force-free community
Members must be respectful, protect each other's privacy and follow the Academy's force-free, welfare-led approach. Members must not: promote pain, fear, intimidation, physical punishment or deliberate flooding recommend aversive equipment such as shock collars, prong collars or choke chains bully, harass or discriminate against another person copy or share another member's posts, images or personal information without permission advertise, solicit clients or send unsolicited promotional messages share Academy resources, recordings, downloads or login details Posts that are unsafe or breach these standards may be removed. Serious or repeated breaches may result in suspension or removal from the Academy. A member may discuss a past experience with an aversive method when genuinely seeking help, but must not advocate its use.
11. Content and copyright
Academy materials belong to or are licensed to Victoria Cooper. You may use them for your personal learning and work with your own dog. They must not be copied, resold, published, taught commercially or shared with non-members without written permission.
12. Availability, privacy and changes
I will make reasonable efforts to provide reliable access, although brief interruptions may occur. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the privacy information on victoria-cooper.co.uk. Essential membership emails are separate from optional marketing emails. Reasonable changes may be made to the content, timetable or these terms. Important changes will be explained in advance where practicable. If the Academy closes, renewals will stop and an appropriate refund will be considered for any substantial prepaid period that cannot be provided.
13. Responsibility and complaints
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, I am not responsible for loss caused by ignoring safety guidance, using general information as a substitute for individual advice, or circumstances that could not reasonably be prevented. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, while consumers retain any mandatory protections that apply where they live.

How to cancel
Cancel through your Zenler account, where available, or email [email protected] before your next payment. Include the name and email address used to join. Cancellation will be confirmed in writing. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Monthly and annual payments are not normally refunded for non-use or a change of mind after applicable cancellation rights have ended. The first founder month is a minimum commitment, subject to statutory rights. Cancelling or allowing membership to expire permanently ends the founder price. If you rejoin, you will pay the price available to new members at that time. Refunds remain available whenever required by consumer law. Cancelling a card or payment instruction does not reliably tell me that you wish to cancel. Please use Zenler or email so that your membership can be closed correctly.
